We are now seeking for the following professionals to join us:
1)Investment Manager-Equity(Location: Shanghai)
Job Duties: -Manage equity portfolio with the objective of consistent out-performance versus benchmark/peer group. -Participate in robust stock selection process and be aware of development of new valuation criteria. -Assist in business development, including supporting marketing efforts on new products by doing presentations to consultants and prospects. -Ensure compliance with client investment guidelines at security level. -Adhere to the standards set out by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and other regulatory authorities. -Adopt and comply with the industry’s Best Practice and uphold our corporate values.
Job Requirements: -University graduate with major in economics/finance. -At least 5 years of related experience in securities/fund management industry with good investment performance record, overseas working experience is preferred. -Outstanding analysis and presentation skills. -Strong English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal. -Well organized, attend to details and has pleasant personality.
2)Investment Manager-QDII(Location: Shanghai)
Job Duties: -Manage onshore QDII portfolio (which invests into overseas markets outside of China, initially emerging markets equity focused) with the objective of consistent out-performance versus benchmark/local peer group. -Work closely with HSBC overseas teams in formulating the investment strategies and constructing QDII portfolios. -Participate in HSBC investment forums/meetings to share country/sector/stock ideas. -Ensure compliance with prescribed QDII investment guidelines. -Assist extensively in QDII marketing efforts such as meeting clients, doing IPO roadshow, providing input on regular QDII commentary, Q&A, seminars, media exposure and etc. -Participate in the set-up of systems to enable QDII investment from Shanghai (representing the front-office user) -Adhere to the standards set out by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and other regulatory authorities. -Adopt and comply with the industry’s Best Practice and uphold our corporate values.
Job Requirements: -University graduate. -At least 5 years of overseas investment related experience (fund manager/research analyst) with an overseas institution, emerging market equity working experience is preferred. -Outstanding analytical and presentation skills. -Fluency in English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal.
3)Investment Manager-QFII(Location: Shanghai)
Job Duties: -Manage QFII portfolio with the objective of consistent out-performance versus benchmark/peer group. -Participate in robust stock selection process and be aware of development of new valuation criteria. -Work closely with HSBC overseas teams in enhancing the investment platform and framework. -Participate in HSBC investment forums/meetings to share and exchange country/sector/stock ideas. -Ensure compliance with prescribed QFII investment guidelines. -Assist extensively in QFII marketing efforts such as meeting clients and roadshows, providing input on regular QFII commentary, Q&A, seminars, media exposure and etc. -Adhere to the standards set out by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and other regulatory authorities. -Adopt and comply with international best practice and uphold our corporate values.
Job Requirements: -University graduate. -At least 3-5 years of asset management experience in securities/fund management industry with good investment performance in China A-share market, overseas working experience is preferred. -Outstanding analytical and presentation skills. -Fluency in English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal.
4)Credit Analyst (Location: Shanghai/Hongkong)
Job Duties: -Conduct research and analysis on macro economy, Chinese onshore fixed income market and provide credit research support for offshore (Hongkong) Chinese fixed income securities as well. -Propose the investment strategy on credit securities, such as bond class allocation, sector allocation, rating allocation and term allocation. -Conduct analysis on individual issues and write internal credit rating report; Maintain, update and closely monitor the internal credit securities pool. -Closely monitor the credit events and market movements, conduct the related analysis and propose the respective actions. -Prepare research reports to local fixed income team and share ideas/views and any related information with team member actively. -Prepare reports for offshore (Hongkong) fixed income team, participate in regular/ad hoc meetings, share and exchange country/sector views and local ideas/views. -Maintain and update internal model allocation and model portfolio, assist in portfolio management, credit securities selection and credit risk management. -Leverage on the knowledge/expertise of HSBC overseas teams and their research framework/platform to continuously improve credit research process, credit model and report quality. -Adopt the international best practice and uphold our corporate values -Ensure compliance with prescribed QFII investment guidelines. -Participate in client liaison and marketing work when required. -Adhere to the standards set out by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and other regulatory authorities.
Job Requirements: -University graduate with major in economics/finance. -At least 3 years of related experience in a reputable financial institution (securities/fund management/banking) with good performance record. -Overseas education background or working experience is preferred. -Outstanding analytical and presentation skills. -Fluency in English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal. -Willing to be seconded to Hongkong for 3-6 months on project base.
5) TA Administrator(Location: Shanghai)
Job Duties: -Perform registration of investor’s fund account or trade information and arrange settlement timely and accurately. -Responsible for storage of files in an orderly and effective manner. -Participate in User Acceptance Test for the TA/DS System. -Process and input income and expense transaction of a fund and produce relevant financial reports. -Reconcile trade details with clearing bank or sales channels.
Job Requirements: -University graduate with major in Finance or Accounting. -At least 2 years experience in financial field, banking or fund industry experience is preferred. -Proficient in PC applications. -Well organized, attend to details and has pleasant personality.
